Ema Edosio Deelen
Ema Edosio Deelen, a Nigerian director and cinematographer, gained acclaim with her debut film Kasala! This groundbreaking work was showcased at over 30 international film festivals and received 9 awards, highlighting Ema's exceptional storytelling ability. She studied at the Motion Pictures Institute of Michigan, specializing in cinematography and directing. Ema's diverse career also spans roles as a video broadcast journalist for BBC African Deutsch Welle and as a TV director for leading Nigerian networks such as Ebony Life TV and Ndani TV. Ema's work, including the widely acclaimed Kasala! now streams on Netflix.
