Workshops Description

How do you take a concept and bring it to life with minimal time and resources? You do not always have the luxury of a lot of time and money when you need to do a project. Although it does place natural limitations upon your process and end product, you can do a lot with a little – often more than you think. In this workshop, Ian will take you through the steps of how he and his team approach a project from start to finish. He will share real life examples and practical tips on the day and there will also be an opportunity for some volunteers to be directed by Ian and act as DOP in a simulated situation. Beginners to more experienced cinematographers are all welcome.”

Ian will unpack taking a brief, setting the concept and mood for it, choosing the storyline and designing the pre production, Production and Post production in synergy for the end goal.
