Workshops

Alpha Festival Abuja – Small Lights, Big Results

Conducted by

Khaleel Yakubu

Learn how to control light effectively, create depth, and enhance subject features without needing large, complex setups.

December 01, Sunday

4:00 PM - 7:00 PM

Big H Studios, P.O.W. Mafemi Cres, Utako, Abua, Nigeria

Workshops Description

“If you want to make an interesting image, don’t light all of it”. We all love our big umbrellas and soft boxes because of their ease of use and the beautiful soft light they create. But in this class, we focus on harnessing the power of small portable lights and modifiers, in order to create unique, scroll stopping images for our portfolios. Perfect for photographers on the go or those with limited studio space, this workshop will teach how to control light effectively, create depth, and enhance subject features without needing large, complex setups.
