Photowalks Description

AlphaWalks with Akhil Vinayak Menon is a series of Wildlife Photowalks aimed at exploring the wildlife photography genre using specialized Sony Alpha Gear. The session is aimed at practical hands-on learning using long telephoto lenses and cameras from the sony alpha lineup under the mentorship of an experienced wildlife photographer. The sessions supports focussed learning as the participants are limited per walk and is a great way to experience fast paced wildlife and action photography, clarify questions on camera settings as well as in-the-field questions regarding wildlife photography

Who Can Attend

Anyone interested in Nature and Wildlife Photography can attend who have basic photography skils. Participants are requested to bring their own memory cards to take back the images clicked during session

Akhil Vinayak Menon

Akhil Vinayak Menon is an award-winning Nature and Wildlife Photographer based in Dubai, UAE. He pursues Wildlife Photography as a means to spread the conservation message through Natural History Documentation using photos and videos. Although an ardent nature, animal and landscape photographer, he specializes in bird photography. Apart from photographing wildlife locally, Akhil has travelled to multiple continents to capture unique flora and fauna of the region. His works have been featured in BBC, Natgeo, LonelyPlanet, Bird Photographer of the Year and other international Channels.
