Workshops Description
This will be an intense workshop designed to empower aspiring filmmakers with techniques to take their films from paper to screen. From hands-on filming techniques to distribution over international platforms such as myco. Participants will learn camera techniques, crafting compelling stories to win audiences, and strategies for submissions to international festivals, all under the guidance of industry professionals. It will help the next generation of filmmakers hone their craft and prepare to make their mark on the global stage over a course of 3 days. One selected project will be shot during the workshop to demonstrate hands-on execution from start to end.

Film and photography students and recent graduates from any field who want to pursue a lucrative career in filmmaking and photography and want to learn about opportunities in the field.

Zainab Nasir
Zainab Nasir, a film graduate from the University of Karachi, is an acclaimed Film Director and Producer with experience working for major clients like the British Council, USAID, Business Insider, and brands such as Mirinda and Jazz. She has directed over seven web series, numerous short films, documentaries, and digital ads, earning local and international recognition. Her work has been featured at prestigious events like the Royal Overseas League in London and the Commonwealth Annual Meeting in Rwanda, with films on platforms like Zee5. Currently, she heads production of content for the OTT platform MyCo and teaches filmmaking at universities in Karachi.
