Zaki Alabdullah
Zaki Alabdullah is a Saudi filmmaker and a cinematographer who holds an MFA in Film Production from Northwestern University where he was trained on independent filmmaking. His MFA thesis film Saleh competed at the Student Academy Awards (OSCARS) and received the Golden Palm Award for best short film at the Saudi Film Festiva as well as best Arab short at the European Independent Film Festival in Paris. His cinematography work is versatile and span from sport documentaries with Cristiano Ronaldo to period fiction films and independent social films. As an instructor, he teaches documentary cinematography at the Royal Institte of Traditional Art in Riyadh.
