Barny Emordi covers cinematography and lighting for film. This session centers on establishing the low light capability of the FX3/FX6 and the FX30, as he shares his experience on practical lighting for cinematic film. The workshop will involve a makeshift setup for a hands on approach so that participants can actively interact with the gear.

Barny Emordi

Barny is a seasoned Director of Photography who’s worked on some of the biggest Nigerian films of all time. In 2021, he was named the highest-grossing DOP in Nollywood. His Filmography blockbusters like Prophetess, Superstar, The Ghost and the Tout Too, Hey You, and “DOD” (The first Nollywood time travel film), Multi award-winning “Elevator Baby” film, and a host of TV Commercials for global brands, as well as Documentaries. In a recent feat, Barny led the Nigerian team for Netflix’s original documentary series “Stories of a Generation with Pope Francis”. He believes that films is genuine tools for advocacy.
