Join us for a 4-hour hands-on workshop exploring the art of fine art photography, with a focus on using hands to express emotions and concepts. You’ll learn how to develop a compelling concept, execute it with precision, and enhance your images through thoughtful editing. The workshop includes a live demonstration, guided shooting sessions, and personalized feedback. Bring your creativity—and any props you like—to create powerful, emotive photographs that tell a story through the simple yet expressive medium of hands.

Who Can Attend

The audience includes photographers of all levels interested in fine art photography, with a focus on using hands to express emotions. Previous experience with photography and Photoshop is a must.

Amani AlShaali

Amani AlShaali is an Emirati conceptual and portrait photographer. She developed a passion for photography at a very young age, and through photography discovered her love for editing and photo-manipulation. At 19, Amani was diagnosed with major depression. She graduated from university with a bachelor’s in interior design and worked as an interior designer while dealing with her depression by creating conceptual images. She portrayed herself in worlds that only exists in her mind, and found healing in translating the darkness that lives inside her into pieces of art. In 2018, Amani got married to photographer Issa AlKindy, and together in 2021 they launched Luminary Studio.
