A comprehensive two-day documentary filmmaking workshop curated to equipp aspiring filmmakers with the practical knowledge, creative techniques, and industry insights they need to create compelling documentaries. The workshop will cover every stage of making documentaries —from conceptualization to the final stages of the production process. Participants will engage in practical sessions covering hands-on techniques for shooting interviews and capturing compelling footage, and will also learn post-profuction tips and effective strategies for making their documentaries compelling and appealing to audiences.

Zainab Nasir
Zainab Nasir, a film graduate from the University of Karachi, is an acclaimed Film Director and Producer with experience working for major clients like the British Council, USAID, Business Insider, and brands such as Mirinda and Jazz. She has directed over seven web series, numerous short films, documentaries, and digital ads, earning local and international recognition. Her work has been featured at prestigious events like the Royal Overseas League in London and the Commonwealth Annual Meeting in Rwanda, with films on platforms like Zee5. Currently, she heads production of content for the OTT platform MyCo and teaches filmmaking at universities in Karachi.
