A comprehensive two-day documentary filmmaking workshop curated to equipp aspiring filmmakers with the practical knowledge, creative techniques, and industry insights they need to create compelling documentaries. The workshop will cover every stage of making documentaries —from conceptualization to the final stages of the production process. Participants will engage in practical sessions covering hands-on techniques for shooting interviews and capturing compelling footage, and will also learn post-profuction tips and effective strategies for making their documentaries compelling and appealing to audiences.

Zainab Nasir
Zainab Nasir is a photographer and filmmaker who has worked with a multitude of national and international entities including British Council, US Consulate, SOC Films, Business Insider, Mirinda, Jazz, Shan, and various other brands. Winning both local and global accolades for her narrative and commercial work, she has made over 7 webseries, multiple short films, documentaries, and digital ads. Her photography has been exhibited at the Royal Overseas League and the Commonwealth Annual Meeting, while her films have made it to international platforms like Zee5. Currently working as a producer at Myco, an international OTT platform, she produces multiple international and local shows for broad audiences. She also teaches Photography and Filmmaking at various Universities in Karachi.
