Mark Issa: Of inspiration and cinematic pursuits

Mark was about 13 years old when he held his very first video camera, filming his friends skateboarding at the park. Little did he know filmmaking was going to be his calling, graduating from the New York Film Academy and Toronto Film School.

Mark is a big fan of film. He likes to add grain to replicate the appearance of film and gets a lot of inspiration from 16mm videos. Mark believes watching his creativity come to life is the best part of the job. His main goal in filmmaking is to inspire and be inspired.
