Workshops Description
This filmmaking and editing basics workshop aims to enable the individual to plan and execute a short film through the understanding of the right camera and audio settings, and the use of the correct tools and equipment. It also helps the individual to learn and understand lighting, composition and camera movement. Storytelling is essential in filmmaking, therefore, learning how to make an engaging story is key. In this workshop, storytelling and editing basics are very well taught.

Mohammed AL Morohen
Mohammad Almorohen is a Saudi professional cinematographer since 2008, he owned his first Sony camcorder in 1996. He started his career in 2006 as a film editor, then in 2008, he became a director of photography. He has held many training courses, workshops, seminars and lectures at universities, art colleges, and cultural centres in the field of cinematography and video editing since 2013. In 2017, he officially launched his first business (M STUDIO) and, in 2020, he officially launched his second business (M ACADEMY) as the first academy specialized in cinematography and video editing education in Saudi Arabia. Eng. Mohammad’s works have been published in many local and international media and magazines such as Vouge Arabia, Harper’s Bazaar, MBC and Rotana TV.
