Newborn photography had been started from more than 20 years; in that time the only light source was used is natural sunlight through the window. But now with the availability of different models and powers of strobe lights out there in the market and the wide range and availability of light modifiers, it is so common for newborn photographers now to use strobe lights. In this video Afaf will share with you the settings that she use in her Sony a7 M4 in photographing newborns with strobe light.

Afaf Alhalal

Dr. Afaf Alhalal is a professional newborn photographer and multi-international award winner from Saudi Arabia. She is a graduate from College of Medicine, Imam Abdulrahman bin Faisal University. After graduation she took a decision of taking care of her own kids and be a full-time mother and decided to work from her own home in newborn photography and spread this beautiful art to the world. During her journey she has photographed more than 100 newborn and has won more than 10 awards.
