Wildlife Photography with Sony

Sony MEA and a select group of 14 photographers from South Africa spent 3 days at Ivory Tree Game Lodge. Equipped with Sony A9 and G-Master lenses including the new 400GM, we did not waste any time. Once we arrive and placed our luggage in our room, it was fun time!

It was a rather tight schedule filled with fun and a great way to really test the cameras.

We started the day early, gathering around and meeting fellow photographer while getting ourselves ready to hit the road.

We were welcome with drum-rolls at The Ivory Tree Game Lodge and we proceeded to gather our gears and keep all the cameras and lenses ready. We did a run through of the camera settings to make sure that the participants can fully utilize the camera features especially the silent shooting which is essential feature when shooting in the wild.

fantastic end to the trip with a local performance and a dinner in the middle of the wilderness.

Started the next day early as well, hoping to see the King of the Jungle. The 400mm lens is a great lens to shoot with – couple it with the 35mm crop that makes it 600mm.
