Trenchcoat Girl
Getting my subject to make shapes with her body always makes images more interesting. It creates a pattern for the eye to follow. Leading lines with body shapes to eventually direct the viewers eye to the face/eyes of the subject is the main purpose of every image of mine.

Thoughtful Eyes
While shooting this commercial shoot, I saw these really awesome colours that were being made by truck art painted on trucks in the background. I got my subject to look at me and those eyes spoke. All the colour went into the background depth and added so much to this shot.

Waiting For You In The Rain
Clouds come floating into my life, no longer to carry rain or usher storm, but to add color to my sunset sky.”
― Rabindranath Tagore, Stray Birds
Every time I look at this image, that quote comes to mind. Some Images just talk to you like no other.

Wistful Longing
Complimentary colours really work for me and the yellow/blue combo worked will in this image. I loved the pop of bokeh I got from my Sony lens in the background which enhanced the image even further

Secret Garden
On my last visit to London, I found one of the most beautiful parks, I have ever seen in Hamstead heath. The place was even named the secret garden. I made my subject play with her hair and we had an interesting conversation going and I got the expression I was looking for. With eye AF, I am always sure that I will lock the focus every time enabling me to focus more on the framing and expression.

Shadow
During my trip to Turkey, I wanted to play with shadows and highlights. While walking around the streets near Istaqlal, I found this perfect wall where shadows of a tree was casted. I toned this image and experimented a lot with colour.

Reflective Beauty
This image is part of the series of shooting with Kelly which was aprt of my London experience. I really liked her expressions and eye contact. I loved how her hair flowed in this image. I used a silver reflector to push light back into her face and fill the shadows.

Golden Hour
Golden Hour – Enough said. If given a choice, I would only shoot during golden hour. The warm hues that I get during that time are always so rich. This shot was done on the street outside my studio using my lens to create this awesome bokehs with the lights. This clean natural orange rim light around her hair can never be created in the studio.

Emotional
I am a huge fan of lightplay and playing with colours in my portraits. Since we already had a blueish cast because of this blue light in the area, I just had to light the face with a warm light, playing with the white balance to get the shadows to go even bluer and enhanced the colours eventually to make magic.

Glamour
I always like experimenting with lights and make up looks to create a mood that is different from what I have done before. This shoot was an experiment to where we used a very loud makeup look plus curled her hair to make a look we have never seen before on her

Coffee With Ahsan
Naturally Lit, the deep pensive in-though expression always work for me. For lighting, I used a silver reflector to bounce back light and fill the shadows and the separation of the foreground and background plus the neutral tones gave this image an earthy feel.
