Anthony Bila

Anthony was born with a penchant for the visual arts. As filmmaker, creative director & visual artist for Studio Bila, a creative space for black voices particularly concerned with showcasing South African narratives. His exhibitions span the world, everywhere from East Asia (Japan, China, Taiwan) to Europe (Germany, Netherlands, United Kingdom &Ireland).
His exploits have garnered publication in Vogue, Grazia & esteemed publications in the United states; The Wall Street Journal & New York Times’ T Magazine. Anthony was selected for residency & exhibition at FORMAT, the UK’s largest photography festival portfolio review. He is also a Tokyo International Photography award winner.
