Workshops Description
Self Portraits are in intimate, honest reflection of how you see yourself. This workshop is an immersion into self-discovery, awareness and creative identity. Beyond the tips and tricks to getting great shots, Jokotade will also be sharing valuable insights on the value of self portraits and how to use them to gain clarity and develop your unique perspective, as an artist, through your lens. In the practice sessions, expect some deep self work as well as getting hands-on with Sony’s latest hears that help you put emotion into every frame.

Jokotade Shonowo
Jokotade Shonowo is a Portrait and Wedding Photographer based in Lagos and the lead creative at Poshclick. Her simple and minimalist style shines through her work which can be described as simple, elegant and timeless. She partners with organisations to educate and empower high school students with entrepreneurship, photography and vocational skills. To this end, she founded Beyond The Shutter to help newbies and intermediate photographers navigate the photography terrain in Nigeria through one -on-one mentorship and group workshops.
