Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions (“T&Cs”) are provided by Sony Middle East and Africa FZE [Represented by SCREENVISION (SPECIAL TECHNOLOGY) (PTY) LTD] (“Sony”) for the Sony Alpha x Marlon du Toit x Tintswalo Safari Giveaway (“Giveaway”).

By participating in this Giveaway, you acknowledge that you have read and understood these T&Cs and agree to be bound by them. These T&Cs govern all aspects of the Giveaway, including data practices outlined in Sony’s Privacy Policy, available at Sony Privacy Policy.

1. Eligibility

• The Giveaway is open to South African residents aged 18 years or older.
• Proof of residency (valid South African ID or passport with proof of residency) will be required from the winner.
• Employees of Sony, Marlon du Toit, Tintswalo Collection, their affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising agencies, and their immediate family members are not eligible to participate.

2. How to Enter

To participate in the Giveaway, entrants must complete the following steps:

1. Follow @SonyAlphaSA, @Marlondutoit, and @tintswalo_safari on Instagram.
2. Like the official Giveaway post, share it to their Instagram Stories, and tag all three accounts.
3. Comment “Go Wild” on the Giveaway post and register via a link sent to them via direct message (DM).

Failure to complete all steps will result in disqualification.

3. Giveaway Period

• The Giveaway runs from 5 March 2025 to 26 March 2025 at 23:59 SAST (“Giveaway Period”).
• Sony reserves the right to revise the Giveaway Period at its sole discretion.

4. Winner Selection and Announcement

• The winner will be randomly selected from qualified entries.
• The winner will be announced on 30 March 2025 on @SonyAlphaSA’s Instagram page.
• The winner will be contacted via email, using the details provided during registration.
• The winner must respond within 48 hours of notification. Failure to do so will result in forfeiture, and a new winner will be selected.

5. Prize Details

The winner will receive the following prizes (“Prize”):

• Sony A7 IV camera
• Sony 400-800mm f/6.3-8 G OSS lens
• A three-night all-inclusive stay for two at Tintswalo Safari, including flights

• 5.1 Stay Terms:

• The stay will be booked directly with Tintswalo Safari.
• Dates will be confirmed with the winner after the announcement and are subject to lodge availability.
• The stay includes accommodation, meals, and game drives, but excludes personal expenses.

• 5.2 Prize Conditions:

• The Prize is non-transferable, non-exchangeable, and cannot be redeemed for cash.
• Sony reserves the right to substitute the Prize with another of equal or greater value at its sole discretion.
• The Prize must be accepted as awarded. No changes or modifications will be allowed.
• Winners are responsible for arranging and covering the costs of their own transport to and from Tintswalo Safari.

6. General Conditions

• Entries submitted outside the Giveaway Period will not be considered.
• Participants must comply with all the steps outlined in these T&Cs to qualify.
• Sony reserves the right to disqualify any participant who violates these T&Cs, provides false information, or engages in fraudulent activity.
• All posts made as part of the Giveaway will be Instagram collaborative posts between @SonyAlphaSA, @Marlondutoit, and @tintswalo_safari.
• This Giveaway is not sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Instagram.
• Sony reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the Giveaway at any time without prior notice.

7. Liability and Indemnity

• By participating, entrants release and hold harmless Sony, its affiliates, employees, agents, and partners from any claims, liability, injury, loss, or damage resulting from participation in the Giveaway or acceptance of the Prize.
• Sony is not responsible for:
  • Any errors, technical malfunctions, or failures that prevent participation.
  • Delays or issues with prize fulfillment due to circumstances beyond Sony’s control.

8. Governing Law and Disputes

• These T&Cs shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of South Africa.
• Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these T&Cs shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of South African courts.
