Promotion Terms & Conditions

Purchase and get a chance to win South African Safari Tour (“Promotion”) is offered by Sony Middle East and Africa FZE (“Sony”) in relation to the purchase of Sony 300mmF2.8GM (“Sony Product”). This Promotion is applicable to all customer who purchase the Product (“You”) during the Promotion Period.

To participating in this Promotion, You consent to the data practices as described in https://alphauniverse-mea.com/privacy-policy/ (collectively as “Privacy Policy”) and this Promotion Terms and Conditions (together, the “Terms). It is important that You read and agree to the Privacy Policy so that You are fully aware of why and how Sony will use your personal data. If you do not agree to any Terms, then You should stop participating in this Promotion.

1. You can participate in this Promotion if You:
   • are at least 18 years old at the time of entry;
   • are legal residents of the country, where the Promotion is being offered; and
   • purchased the Product during the Promotion Period.
2. The Promotion commences on 12^th July 2024 until 20^th August 2024 (“Promotion Period”).
3. Prize consists of a 5-day trip to South Africa, which includes:
   • 1 Round-trip economy class flight tickets from the winner’s nearest major International Airport to South Africa.
   • Hotel/Camp accommodation for 4 nights in a standard room, including meals.

Sony has the full authority to determine service provider, and the specific details of the itinerary will be communicated to the winner via email on or before 31^st August 2024.

The prize does not include any cost or expenses for the transportation to and from the winner’s home airport, visa, travel insurance, or any other cost or expenses not explicitly mentioned by Sony.

4. Winner Selection and Notification:

Winners will be selected by Sony representatives from the eligible entries during the Promotion Period based on answers to the questions marked on the right-hand page. You are required to fill and submit the registration form to the same shop front where You purchased the Product to enter this Promotion:

Failure to provide complete details in the registration form will result in disqualification.

Total 16 winners will be chosen for this Promotion.

The winner will be notified via email (provided during the registration process). The winner must respond within 3 days of contact to confirm acceptance of the prize. Failure to respond will result in disqualification, and an alternate winner may be selected.

Winners will be required to send a copy of the following documents in order to complete the validation process to claim the prize:

1. a copy of the receipt the Sony Product
2. copy of the passport of winner
3. copy of the residency identification
4. General Conditions:
   • The winner is responsible for ensuring they meet all the entry requirements and have the necessary travel documents (e.g., valid passport, South African VISA).
   • The prize shall be non-transferable, non-exchangeable, and cannot be redeemed for cash or any other alternatives.
   • Sony reserves the right to substitute the prize with another of equal or greater value at its sole discretion.
   • Sony reserves the right to disqualify any individual found tampering with the participation process or violating these Terms.
   • Sony reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the Promotion at any time without prior notice, for any reason.
   • By participating in the Promotion, participants agree to release and hold harmless Sony its affiliates, employees, and agents from any and all liability or any injury, loss, or damage arising from or in connection with the Promotion or the Prize.
   • These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Dubai, UAE.
   • Any disputes arising out of or in connection with the Promotion shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Dubai.
